It’s now one month to St Patrick’s Day for the year!!!

St Patrick’s Day is the biggest day of the year on our calendar for good reason… it’s a day to celebrate all things Irish. We’ve got a lot planned for this year.

We’re happy to announce we’re offering our famous $1 entrée & $1 dessert menu once again for this Valentine’s Day. It’s a special day for couples so we’d like to offer something special too.

Summer is in full swing

As we approach the mid way point for Summer, we’re busy with one of our busiest periods. As everyone is enjoying the sun and their holidays, we’re making sure the Guinness is pouring well.

Deck expanded again

We’ve recently extended our already massive deck (see pictures on our facebook page) and included another set of stairs to improve access (no more lengthy trips to the toilets). The deck is popular during this time of the year (and rightfully so!) so we’ve made sure it’s expanded to accommodate our customers.

Beer fest this month

We’re proud to be one of the sponsors of the Tamar Valley Beer Festival, which is happening this month; 20th – 21st of January. We’ve got a stall so you can expect some classic Irish food & beverage fare. Hopefully you’re all coming along, there’s more entertainment, the list of beers & ciders has been expanded with food stalls throughout.

Pirate Party NYE 2012

ARRRRRR!!! PIRATE PARTY AHOY!

NYE 2012 is upon us already! To bring in the new year at Irish, we’ve got a pirate party themed night. With a precious bounty of prizes & promos to give away. Oh and Lorenzo von mattahorn will be performing live throughout the night.

Our themed nights are some of the best in Launceston, we go all out in dressing up the venue & staff to suit the evening. Join in on the fun by coming along in your best pirate themed outfit for lucky door and best dressed prizes.

With a massive start to the month thanks to some popular sporting finals and a big close to the month with Halloween, October is looking to be great fun. Let’s break down what’s happening this month.

Sporting finals & Oktoberfest celebration

1st of October: AFL Grand Final. Magpies vs Cats. Well we now know that the cats (Geelong) came through at the end.
2nd of October: Oktoberfest is coming to a close (it’s a ~2 week long celebration) in Germany so we’ve got a themed day to celebrate including a free BBQ (with a drink purchase). It’s also the NRL final and Manly Sea Eagles ended up getting the best over the New Zealand Warriors.

September 17 is 6 months till St Patricks Day 2012

It’s already halfway to St Paddy’s Day so we’ve got some special promos and live music for the night. In the rugby Australia vs Ireland, sure to be a big game.

Live music kicking off from 8.30 with the Geale Brothers, followed by All Aboard. Plus drink specials all night.
