With an experienced team and great atmosphere we’d be more than happy to ensure that your function is a great success. With three areas suitable to a wide variety of functions and live music 7 nights a week, you’d be hard pressed to find a better place to host your function.
Private drinking areas
Along with your semi-exclusive drinking area for your function is a bar tender who is focused on helping your function become a success. We’ll open our side bar (finn bar) or deck bar to help accommodate with all your function needs. Any of our function areas can support from 20 to 100 or more people easily.
Functions in the restaurant
As our restaurant is split into two areas, it’s easy for us to let you use the downstairs area of our restaurant for your function. This area can accommodate approximately 40-50 with ease. This is the perfect option if you’d prefer to make a presentation/ speech and food from our restaurant (whether its a full menu, a set menu, pizzas and nibbles). Contact us with some ideas you think would work best and we’ll go from there.
Nibbles & bits
A wide range of food options are available, including (note: actual platter contents may differ, depending on availability):
- Hot platters: Meat pies, spring rolls, samosas, sausage rolls, prawn crackers, spicy meat balls.
- Cold platters: Cheese, watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries, nacho chips, salt and vinegar chips, nuts.
- Sandwiches: Sandwich platters with a variety of fillings.
- Combination platters: A half hot/ cold platter.
- Pizzas: We’ll cook up a variety of pizzas in our wood fired pizza oven.
- Restaurant sitting: Of course you and any number of your guests can sit down and enjoy dinner in our Shamrocks Restaurant.
Flexibility
You want to pre-pay for a certain amount of drinks? No problems. Want a wood fire going during the colder months of the year? Sure, of course. Want some balloons setup around your function area? Can do.
Alternative Venues
We work closely with Hotel New York and Manhattan Wine Bar, so we’re happy to help sort out plans involving alternative function destinations or menus. Ie, dining in our Shamrocks’ restaurant before hiring out the front bar of Hotel New York.
